Datanomic Key Takeaways: Creating A New Path To Wellbeing For Europe (Dec. 17th, 2020 Session D21)

During and after our session, guests of Siemens, Istari Global, The Own Your Data Foundation, Ahura AI and parts of the Cloud Nation explained a variety of their next steps in 2021 based on economics and datanomics.
The partners vow to undertake self-checks in order to ensure that different levels of wellbeing (individual, organizational, societal and other) are being addressed by all people in Europe and beyond.
Below we outline 4 areas that Siemens is engaging in with the European Commission, based on economics & datanomics:

BC is seen as a key enabler

The aim here is to identify and cross-out greenwashing scenarios, and to thereby increase macro-societal well-being across different regions, sectors and industries. As a result, new corporate and user-centric designs and models are being shaped and built around transparency. Energyusers seem to uplift their own willingness to pay extra for certified green energy.
‘Just Transition Funds’ are starting in early 2021 to support the transformation of fossil fuel intensive regions towards non-fossil energy systems
...The first upcoming test case powered by the fund is the ‘Pszczyna Project', wherein the most polluted city in Poland is transformed from coal to green energy in order to improve the quality of air for locals and visitors in the region, and to improve the wellbeing of the people
...Establishment of local H2 economy structures in order to primarily support the production and the storage of H2 energy instead of energy generated from coal. The funds push for the migration of workforces "from coal to green jobs"
